Hello to everyone from the land of snow. Yep, it’s been snowing most of the night and all morning and it is absolutely beautiful!
Hubby is completing the Master Bath Makeover as I type (I can’t wait for my new shower) and I’ve spent my morning photographing and listing my latest treasure … a hand hammered copper cauldron.
This is not my first copper cauldron find but the first one was about three inches larger than this guy. But isn’t copper, especially with a bit of patina, just lovely?
This one has all the bells and whistles, too. A twisted black iron handle, black iron handle hooks and feet, and all attached with copper rivets. Very nicely done.
There are a number of religions that use copper cauldrons in their ceremonies, and this smaller version is a perfect size.
Of course, you could use it as a clever herb garden for your kitchen or a catch-all or trinket pot for keys and coins by the door.

The snow’s starting to taper off – guess I’ll go do a bit of shoveling. Enjoy your Sunday. – Kriss
